Defiance Films, whose debut title Pleasure sold out the day it hit the streets, is teaming up with Torrid Entertainment.

"We are going to be distributing for Torrid," said Defiance Films. "They will be shooting in HD, and feature all female directors. Defiance is going to do all male directors, so it'll be a nice little battle between the directors." Torrid's first, as yet untitled, effort is scheduled to begin shooting next week. The Defiance and Torrid union came about when "Torrid came to us and said they were kind of molding themselves after our philosophy of doing all A-List talent," offered O'Connor. "And they knew who our salesman is, Anthony Simone, who has one of the best reputations in the business. So we negotiated a deal, and I think it'll be a really nice fit, almost like Red Light and Platinum. We tweaked what they do a little bit to match what we do, so the companies are similar. It should be beautiful.
